Danny Tauty

As the Chief Visionary Officer at Poggesi, Mr. Tuaty oversees all organic and inorganic growth of the company. Prior to creating Poggesi in 2017, he founded T-Y Group in 1991, building a premier supplier of high-end products for the hospitality industry. In 2010, a private equity fund acquired a majority share participation in T-Y. Two years later, Bed, Bath & Beyond purchased all of the T-Y’s interests. Mr. Tuaty remained CEO of the company until 2017.
Through his 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry and numerous entrepreneurial endeavors, Danny is an expert in Sourcing, Design, Negotiation, Budgeting, Food & Beverage, Luxury Goods, and Operations Management.
He has a degree in Textile Engineering from the Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science (The Philadelphia University) with a specialization in dyeing and finishing. For several years he has maintained Silver Status with the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
Danny lives in Weston, Florida with his wife Shannon and their three children.
